FAQ
About hemp and CBD
What is hemp?
Hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) is a versatile annual plant used by humans for thousands of years — for fibre, seeds and flowers. It is recognised by its distinctive seven-pointed leaves. The flowers (buds) grow along the stem and ripen in shades of green. It is a naturally resilient plant that needs no pesticides to grow.
What is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is one of the main natural cannabinoids in hemp. Unlike THC, it is not psychoactive — it does not cause a "high". It is one of the best-known and most popular natural compounds in hemp. Read more about how CBD differs from THC on our blog.
What is 'CBD weed' or 'CBD flower'?
"CBD weed", "CBD flower" and "CBD buds" are different colloquial names for the same thing: dried flowers of industrial hemp in which CBD dominates and THC stays below the legal limit (0.3%). We simply call them — buds. They are not marijuana and are not psychoactive.
Industrial hemp or CBD hemp — is it marijuana?
No. Both are plants from the cannabis genus, but the key difference is THC content. Industrial hemp contains low levels of THC (under 0.3%) and higher levels of CBD, so it is not psychoactive. Marijuana contains high levels of THC (1–30%), which cause a psychoactive effect. Our products are made from industrial hemp.
Will it get me 'high'? Do the products contain THC?
No. Our buds are from industrial hemp with THC below the legal limit of 0.3%. Because THC is the cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effect, our products are not psychoactive and will not get you "high". The dominant cannabinoid is CBD.
What's the difference between CBD, CBG and CBN?
All three are natural cannabinoids from hemp and are not psychoactive:
- CBD (cannabidiol) — the best known, dominant in our buds.
- CBG (cannabigerol) — considered the "mother of cannabinoids", as the others form from it.
- CBN (cannabinol) — forms as the plant naturally ages.
What's the difference between indica and sativa?
Indica and sativa are traditional botanical labels for two types of cannabis that differ mainly in how the plant grows and in its aromatic profile. With industrial hemp, the cannabinoid and terpene profile matters more for a variety’s character than the label itself — which is why we describe the aroma and profile of each of our varieties individually.
What are terpenes?
Terpenes are natural aromatic compounds that give each hemp variety its characteristic smell and taste. Some are more relaxing, others more energising. Together with cannabinoids they create the so-called "entourage effect".
What does 'full spectrum' mean?
Full spectrum means the product contains the complete natural range of cannabinoids and terpenes from the plant (with THC below the legal limit), not just isolated CBD. All compounds together contribute to the "entourage effect".
Our products
Where do your buds come from?
From our own cultivation. We grow, hand-harvest and naturally dry the hemp ourselves, which lets us control quality at every step — from seed to flower. No shortcuts, no reselling. Our flowers are a natural product with no artificial additives.
Are your products lab-tested?
Yes. We monitor quality and cannabinoid content through laboratory analysis to ensure product purity and compliance with the legal THC limit. Learn how to spot quality hemp buds yourself in our guide.
What does the CBD percentage on the packaging mean?
The percentage tells you what share of the flower’s weight is CBD — e.g. "5% CBD" means 50 mg of CBD per gram of flower. A higher percentage means a more pronounced cannabinoid profile. Regardless of the CBD percentage, THC always stays below the legal limit (0.3%).
How do I use hemp buds?
They are most often used aromatically — as an aromatic tea from ground flowers, or with a vaporiser. Read more on our blog.
How should I store the buds?
Keep them in a cool, dry and dark place, away from direct sunlight and moisture — ideally in a well-sealed container. This preserves aroma, terpenes and quality for longer.
How long do buds keep?
Properly stored buds usually keep their aroma and quality for 12 months or more — the exact best-before date is on the packaging. Over time the flower gradually loses terpenes (aroma), so it is best enjoyed fresh.

Legal and safety
Is buying hemp buds legal in Slovenia?
Our buds are made from certified industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) with a low THC content (under 0.3%), in line with the EU limit for industrial hemp. Dried flowers from industrial hemp are sold in Slovenia in accordance with applicable regulations. As hemp legislation is evolving, we always offer products in line with current rules.
Can I take buds abroad with me?
We advise against it. Cannabis regulations differ between countries — a product compliant with Slovenian rules may be treated differently elsewhere. Do not carry buds across borders; order them for when you are back home instead.
Will your products show up on a drug test?
Our products contain only traces of THC (under 0.3%). Drug tests look for THC, so detection is theoretically possible — especially with frequent use or sensitive tests. If you are subject to testing (e.g. driving or at work), we recommend caution or abstinence.
Can I drive after use?
For drivers, THC in the body is not permitted, regardless of source. Although our products contain only minimal amounts of THC, we recommend caution. If you are unsure how a product affects you, do not get behind the wheel.
Who are the products not suitable for?
The products are not intended for persons under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding women. The national public health institute advises caution with CBD products. Our products are not intended to treat, prevent or diagnose any disease — if you have health concerns or take medication, consult a doctor.
